Best Practices for Pressure Injury Prevention and Treatment: An Ounce of Prevention

The Cures Act was put into place in 2016 by Congress, but the final rule was implemented in June 2024. The part of this act that matters the most for long term care providers is they have to be able to share important health information with residents and family members. This session explores resident and family expectations in the current climate and how providers can be successful using the right tools and processes and ultimately making them successful in a competitive economic climate.

Our session incorporates viewpoints and feedback from different disciplines across the Senior Care spectrum like Administrators, DONs, Chief Nursing Officers, and more.  All disciplines bring their own diverse experiences and opinions with the Cures Act and how providers can be successful in the current climate.
